School Curriculum

Arish International School curriculum addresses the development of knowledge, skills and understanding in key areas- subjects and personal development. We value the important role of parents in the educational process and ensure that our parents are aware of what is being taught in the classrooms. The Curriculum is designed to promote integration with technology and other subject areas. The Arish School curriculum focuses on skills and values based learning, recognizing that in a rapidly changing world, practical application of knowledge is of more worth.

There are clearly set out learning goals for:

Lower section: Preschool-Nursery2(Basic 1)

Upper section: Basic 2–6

The goals state clearly what children need to know (knowledge), what they will be able to do (skills) and what they will need to understand (understanding) in the following subjects; Creative/Fine Art, Social Studies, Civic Education, ICT, English Language, Mathematics, Music, Physical and Health Education, Basic Science, Computer studies, Yoruba language. Agricultural Science, Home Economics, Christian Religion Knowledge.

Children are involved in a lot of research and recording activities which make learning at the Arish School interactive and interesting.
